History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Tim was born the youngest of three triplets. Tim was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
