History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a Sellsword, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Raymond is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he loathes his own lifestyle
