Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Butcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. He has shaved his head bald. He has brown eyes and a grey hat with a red feather.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Charles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
