Description: He very much looks the part of a Cartwright. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is chestnut and curly. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Cartwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a sai on his belt. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 57. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'8" and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He struck the Priest job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Description: This man stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is dressed in earthy colors with a green and pastel handkerchief worn on his right side. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break

Voice: Cold and demanding tone

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His red hair is still thick. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has money and likes to spend it
