His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Anselm took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Gerard was born the youngest of three triplets. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. John is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sai use. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
