Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. History: He was born in the south. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
