History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Ernest was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
