Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Richard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Richard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Richard. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in rapier use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Randal was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Chad was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sculptor. After a long history of fighting, Chad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his sai, marred by sweets. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Soapmaker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
