Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Ralf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
