History: Born to a Gardener, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Aldous was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Mortician, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Tailor. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
