History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Patrick grew up listening to his father's many stories. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He became a Cook soon after.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears baggy black pantaloons and a brown scarf, and is pretty ugly. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has amber eyes and a black hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Simon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is greedy
