History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stylist responsibilities is difficult.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Don was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
