Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Born in the west to a Beggar, Frederick learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.
