He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Animal Trainer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.
