Description: He is scrawny and has patchy auburn stubble. He wears dull black sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case. He has a hunchback. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. A true patriot, Conrad would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Conrad abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is chestnut and very short. He has hazel eyes and a white hat with a pastel feather.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Charles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Charles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Charles. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Percival hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
