Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Shane's homeland. Shane decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
