Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Hubert was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Barrister. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Banker responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
