Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. The war was a terrible time for him, and Richard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
