History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Arnold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Ralf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ralf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available he will default to his scimitar, and is pretty ugly. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hunter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bertram will drive conversation. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
