History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
