Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the east to a Baker, Conrad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Geoffrey hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and revenge

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Roland was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and money/treasure
