History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
