He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His ears are large.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Adventurer profession.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.
