History: Born in the north to a Architect, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Anthony does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
