History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Patrick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Patrick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites.
