History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Percival was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is typically in his Detective uniform. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has worked as a Detective like his father before him.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Crown-heir; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Wymar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
