History: He was born into a rich family. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Personality: Ernest hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Ernest's homeland. Ernest decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his daughter
