History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Hubert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
