History: Born in the east to a Blacksmith, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a great chef.

History: Ralf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
