History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Hubert and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hubert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hubert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bellfounder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
