History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Thomas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thomas decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Tailor, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and to be a tailor again
