History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Gunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.
