Miles Bentley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 5'5" and dresses like a well dressed Crown-heir does. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 78. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Job, Immigrant, Mentor. Occupation: Crown-heir
Voice: Tuts and clicks tongue

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he usually wears his black robe and has his scimitar always slung over his shoulder. His silver hair is lengthy. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Gerald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.
