Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family
