A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Body Guard. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Nicholas is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the south. Nicholas was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tailor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Charles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
