History: Heward was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ernest studied abroad. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world.
