History: The child of a Farmer, who enjoyed hunting, Randal was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and further expansion of business
