History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
