Conrad Dryden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Hubert Marlowe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a mite stocky and has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Hubert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

Balimaar Carlyle, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He keeps his long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Conrad Carlisle, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is scrawny and has patchy red stubble. He typically wears pastel cloth garments or leather armor. He has a hunchback. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 34. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: He was born in the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable
Flaws: Ugly, Addict, Insane. Bonds: Criminal record, Immigrant. Occupation: Guard
