Personality: Anselm is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
