Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anselm grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anselm. Being a Barrister kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born in the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

He carries with him a set of lances on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trym grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and seeks redemption
