History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his brother

Description: This western man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull white iron scale mail. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Everard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has money and likes to spend it
