History: He comes from a rich western family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Blacksmith. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role.
