Description: A 5'9" western man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair is long and golden with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born in the east to a Apothecary, Rolf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He struck the Apothecary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult.
