Thomas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thomas. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shoemaker born in the past three hundred years. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Charles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To be a Servant again; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
