He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.
