Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Patrick was taken on many hunting expeditions. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
