Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Roland was born with his father's beautiful face. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
