Description: A 5'4" southern man, he is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Norman is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This light-skinned male dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears just a blue suit. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
