Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
